this week, Richard had to work in New York, so I tagged along, keen to see whether the new cult of farmers' markets and organic eating was all it was cracked up to be.  pictures of what i found will follow.

first, i wanted to post this little image we saw in a window on 72nd street and york.  america gets a lot wrong, but it also gets a lot of things very right.  we were really touched by this gesture.  big thumbs up for First Professional Cleaners, Inc, of NYC.
