Beef, poultry and pork aren't seasonal in the same way as the other meats featured in these tables and so can be eaten all year round.

Radishes are a cross between a turnip and the horseradish plant, hence their shape and fiery flavour. Always look at the radish tops: they are a valuable addition to your salad and will also tell you how fresh your radishes are. Halve them and dip them in salt before eating.
